I don't get this part: on page 256 (I'm from America), they defined C.O.B.R.A. as Cabinet-Office-Briefing-Room. What does the "A" stand for???  undecided

it's probably just a letter added because COBR is hard to pronounce, and COBRA is a word that is already known

In the translation I got (dutch), they solve this problem by giving the rooms characters. That would make for you Cabinet-Office-Briefing-Room-A.

yeah i'm pretty sure in the english version they have room A as well.

the thing kinda reminds me of scorpia. both animals. both stand for something.

Yeah, I read the british copy and it said A as well. Maybe the american publishers are losing it...

It stands for Cabinet Office Briefing Room A. Maybe they have more than one briefing room for different kinds of threats.
