it really doesn't matter that the bora falls aren't real, the description is good enough for anyone to believe they are real unless they did a lot of research, maybe A.H. didnt like the sound of the jim jim falls and changed the name to make it more thrilling from the readers perspective... i dont know

first of all, not to sound blunt or anything, there is no picture of the Bora Falls on the internet. I've checked and a lot of other people checked.

Second of all, I am quite certain that AH did not take the Jim Jim Falls and changed its name to Bora Falls! Like he said in the acknowledgments, in the first sentence, he made this book as accurate as possible. So he would not have made up Bora Falls.

And I have done alot of research (not just looking at pictures) and I have not found any place called "bora falls" If you can find something, anywhere that says there is actualy a place then you may rub it in my face. But as it stands at the moment l dont think there is such a place, Iam not saying there isnt such a place though.

No, but before I read it on here, not that long ago, I never even new it was called "jim jim falls" If I had read that in his book I would have laughed at the sheer thought of a waterfall being called "jim jim" But Iam an odd person.
