*catches Meggy* *says to Odd* that seriously is suicide! how many people die doing that? i have absolutley no idea not that many i would think. although it is possible to die kayaking most deaths are caused by hypothermia (getting too cold) and obviously some drownings, mostly people new to the sport not wearing PFDs (personal floatation devices). most waterfalls tend to have deep plungepools at the bottom, athough this isn't always the case, but like alex thinks in the book, hitting a rock after a fall that big would almost certainly result in serious injury. that said the only people doing this sort of thing are professionals, you wouldn't want to do that without a lot of experience kayaking. alex really must have the luck of the devil to survive one in a makeshift boat using single paddles and having only been kayaking three times in his life before!

i wonder what AR was thinking about his life. i mean, he's pretty much been blackmailed into doing missions for MI6 and CIA. Sure he wants to live. but his life kind of sucks.

I know...It would be so scary knowing you were going to die slowly and painfully, Piece by piece.

The part with the crusher? The chapter even called The Crusher or something like that. You can't remember that? I thought it was terrible knowing what is comming. Anyways back on topic.

Yes, that must have been horrible, but Iam sure Alex wouldnt have wanted to die going down the falls, if not for the sake of jack.
