Haha, I feel just the same... (with the 5th book, not with Scott...)

Scott seems to have more personality than some of the others... He kinda seems more human.. He's had all this *badword* happening to him and he's angry about it and it has messed him up a bit... I don't know, I can just empathize with him I guess... I understand him (well, I like to think I do xD) He's also got more of a solid character. The others (except for Pedro) have all changed loads since we've 'known' them (Pedro we don't really know at all anyway) and he's been pretty static. I do see all the flaws with what i just said/typed and that he has changed loads, but nothing like compared to the rest of them. I just think i like that about him. It's hard to explain Cheesy

I think thta question belongs in a seperate topic... I dunno (I'm a newbie myself to be honest).

You make some very good points about Scott MadCatta, he has been through a lot... and I can understand better why he's so messed up. However, I really like Matt... and it's clear to me that Scott isn't overly keen, I mean that argument with Matt in the fourth book got me pretty cross at Scott (although I understand why he was upset).

Yeah, Nightrise or Necropolis...But that's for another topic xD

Edit: I agree with you a bit there FK... I can quite easily see Scott turning against them... Although not by choice in my opinion, but remaining fairly apathetic by choice xD

Do you see part of yourselves in any characters? I do Scott and Matt and maybe even Pedro which is weird cause they're all guys and I'm a girl... I would love to be Scarlett but myself less snotty and annoying oh and definitely dippy and ditsy. She is so lucky and I bet she doesn't see and all she does is moan! Actually I like Scar (like old Scarlett, not the modernish one)

Heya! Welcome to the board, uhm... I think question can be used in this topic, in which case... to be honest I don't since I haven't really been in any situation like they've been in before. I guess I am a little like Jamie (which probably why he's my second favourtie out of the 5) because I often play the 'middle man' in a situation and I try ot be cheerful and friendly to everyone.

Yeah, I'd agree with that too.. And a bit like Pedro because I'm quiet and stick a bit to the sidelines, but still ever-so important (i like to think xD)
I can be a little protective, so in that sense i'm a bit like Scott. Other than that, not like him at all. Or Matt, i don't think. Or Scarlett really.

Nothing wrong with being like Pedro and Scott... I think they're both polar opposites and having both charatceristics balances you out quite nicely. Unfortunatly... they're both my least favourtie.

*tries to stay on topic* Well my favourtie out of the five is Matt, mostly because we've been with him since the start so I'm always happier when the story is being told from his point of view. Also, I think he has a very good view of the situations, he knows what his role is, and while he may have the odd moan to himself (or to Richard) he just gets on with it. So I really like him for that.

xD Balanced... doesn't really tend to describe me at all... I'm all something and none the other xD plus I have general awful balance...

I think in that sense, I should really like Matt as I tend to in that way, but for some reason I still prefer Scott. I honestly don't k now what makes him so much better in my eyes xD Well, I do, but I can't explain it.. I've tried and failed previously xD

Don't worry, I adored characters in certain things... and I can't give reasons why. I mean, sometimes I like a chaarcter who has all the characteristics of someone I hate, but I really like them *shrugs* That's sort of the case with Matt, if I went with who I usually like as favourties then it'd probably be Jamie as he's lighthearted, and I generally go for the lighthearted characters.

Scott would probably be higher up on the list, and don't get me wrong, I tihnk he's awesome and everything. Except he's a little to moody for me; and I feel like I haven't seen enough of him to get to know his character. So unfortunatly, he's bottom of the list.

I tend to go for humour... or really screwed up people xD My ave ever character is a Bipolar pianist who has nearly killed himself a number of times...But I did like Scott fave before Nightrise (company, not book xD) got him. I guess I also like the strong and protective people.. Looking after others over themselves...

Moody.. for some reason I am very drawn to moody characters.. God knows why xD

Oh my god don't even get me started with reason why you like characters cause I'm really screwed up there, OK so my fave harry potter character is dum dum dum voldemort n in twilight I love Rosalie and Victoria is really fab but then again I think it is the character you see the most or um read the most about or is the most different or you relate to... random

my fav character is pedro coz he like was so cluless at the begining i like the way hes developed through out the story like he knows not to get involved with the fights and he just stays at the sidelines being helpful after also i like the fact that he dosent tlk much so it makes him secrative which adds an edge to him if u get wat im saying probably not  but yh i dnt like scarlet just because shes a bit snobby and matts cool. scott im undicided about coz i dnt rly know that much bout him yet and jamies cool hes changed alot through out has grown up quite a bit  grin
