Somewhere near the middle of the book, Force Three kills Adam Wright (from the soccer team) ,right?  And the medallion they killed him with was made out of caesium, which has explosive properties when mixed with water, right? Well, I did a little research, and the element caesium goes into a liquid state when in room temperatures, so how come the medallion didn't melt or something?

It was covered in wax, if I remember correctly. When he was in the hot shower, then the wax melted and exposed the caesium to the water and room temperature. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't have the book near me.
