who do you think is better - Jamie Tyler or the original one, Matt Freeman? I mean, when i read Nightrise and found out it wasnt about Matt Freeman but about Jamie &Scott...i was well upset! But personally, i think Jamie Tyler could possibly be more exciting, c;mon - he's a twin!

Yes, but the competition is so hard. I cant choose which one. But I will agree with you. Jamie is better than Matt. He can read minds, control people and an added bonus. He has an identical twin! You cant get any better than that. But Matt's power is great and I would love to have it. But in my mind I imagined Jamie hotter than Matt. But still I cant avoid Matt's bright blue eyes! So I am going with Matt but Jamie comes a close second! He deserves it!

i would agree with Claudi - Ann i think my option would be matt because he has a cool power and he was the 1st five...and i just think that he has a more important role!

i think that there was a lot more about jamie and not matt was because matt was introduced in ravens gate..pedro in evil star...so now they have introduces jamie and scott to nightrise...and also a bit about scar....because you can have all the information about matt in 1 book...and expect more information in the next when you have the other 5s to introduce.....if you see what i mean..lol...but yes i also agree that jamie has a cool power and that he has an identical twin...which sort of makes him much more cool...lol...but oh well nice topic!  grin

if the next one is going to be about scar rather than jamie or matt, and neither of them appear in the book as often, are you guys going to be just as upset that it's not about the boys but about the girl?  are there going to be just as many posts about how matt should be in it more?  or about why jamie wasn't in there?

which is exactly my point.  when it turned out matt wasn't in nightrise much there were a ton of posts about people upset that he wasn't.  i'm just curious to know whether or not it's going to be like that again when it turns out either of them or both of them won't be in book four much

of course there will be a lot of posts, probably not as many still a lot. becuase if you think about it, two books were based on matt so everyone got to really like charicter. but then jamie got introduced in nightrise and was in a 401 paged book which is basically Ravens Gate and Evil Star added together, so we were soooooo surprised! we got to really like his charicter...so when the next book comes out with Scar in it...we will all be really surprised but then get to know her charicteristics and really like it! i mean, that's what happened with nightrise, right?

but heres the real question: will the present day five come together finally in this book as they almost did in the last, and finally fight the Old Ones? And who will be the strongest?

Matt is the best, he stole my heart in book one, and there's no going back. I appreciate Jamie's powers, but I have to ask how useful they will be when they come up against the most powerful of the Old ones. Even if he got all the minions to turn on their masters he would either nearly die from the effort or then be squished by the King, but then again maybe there's two for precisely that reason...

I must say that Matthew Freeman is the best because he has probably endured more than anyone. He has always been alone and he knows how to look after himself.

yh but so does Jamie, he had it worse, if anything. a) at least matt new who his parents were...Jamie doesnt. and B) matt went to school and got educated, unlucky for Jamie, he didnt. but then again, i guess it's just favouritsm - im a sucker for guys with long hair...unlike Matts lol

If we're going for the one who endured the most, I'd probably have to vote for Scott. Yeah, living with a witch and being beaten up by the police is pretty bad, as is being shot and catapulted back in time, but you know.... I wouldn't think Colton Banes was particularly soft either.

i agree there because we know most about matt and he has been through alot scott.... i dunno i quess he has been through alot what with being mind wiped and all and as for jamie he did go to school but then he got home schooled and i think he has been through alot and he did lose his brother the only person he could rely on soo i dunno but maybe i would go for matt cos he's the leader and all but not that jamie isnt super cool aswell  grin

Ok I take you up on that. Matt is cool and the leader so naturally everyone will favour him. But there I dare to be diferent. I pick Jamie and Scott. Sorry but I love twins and they just seem so helpless I cant help but choose them. So Jamie it is for me!
