>>>>>>>>>>OMG yea i couldn't believe Elena died, i felt really sorry for Danny. I've just finished the fourth book. I thought it was really good but i can't make up my mind if Avenger was better. But all i can say is it's a reasonably good ending for Danny and Fergus.
D'oh!! Yeah thanks guys, i just picked up Avenger in Asda today (£3.73) and you just ruined it!! lol! I suppose it was my fault for going on here before reading the book!
I liked them, although not as much as Mr Rider and Young Bond. I like the realism of the shootouts/SAS tactics and codes etc. That is pretty cool. Although the writing is nowhere as good as Horowitz/Higson. Good stuff though.

I only read the first one because I ran out of money to buy the rest. But I loved the first one, it's very good how he uses the same phrases that the SAS and the Firm use because it makes it seem more believable.

I read PayBack today. I ca't believe that stuff with Black Star.
As for Avenger, which is next on my list, I have a feeling that that will be the book when Elena dies. Cause of what she has to do.
