I could see that but Alex likes to work alone. He likes that better and has said so in the books so just because of that I don't AH would give Alex a partner even for a whole book. It would go wrong somehow and he would end up on his own. It would be neat to see what he would do for a short time with someone a lot like him. It might end up that Alex is betrayed somehow. It kinda seems that way from what we know of snakehead so far.

no i didn't. When Byrne told Alex i had a short hought. Most of the time when st like that happens in a book, the reader already knows the person. An there were a lot of strange thing about Tamara. Yea her saving-alex-part was good. Nice of her that she did that.  But i don't want her and Alex to be more than collegues.  Do u think they are going to have some missions together? I'm nt sure, I thnik they fit good (as a team) but Alex is not hte type of working with a pratner. It would destroy the whole image of the serie, i think. Saby they cant be more then collegues she in her 20ies and alex is only like 14 |

i got a bangali friend who has arelative that is 70 and is married and has a son with a 14year old but that aint love im pretty sure of that and my friend refused to go anywhere near him when he came here

What do you all think about Tamara?
She's a really good caracter but i knew that she was at the CIA since Byrne told Alex that he's got one in.
Do you think Alex will meet her again? I suppose so but I'm not sureif i'd like that. Maybe she and Alex come together...?!!!

sorry if this has already been said but i can't believe alex accepted straight away that tamara was a cia agent. I mean in stormbreaker he was tricked by nadia vole saying she was part of mi6. it could have happened again with tamara.

Yes, that is pretty good - after all, girls are just as capable, and we wouldn't want Alex Rider books to turn sexist then, would we??

I'll agree that the last two could have been faked but why would they fake a rescue if they belived that Alex would drown (unless they thought he would escape)? They could have faked a capture but the point I made was that Alex really didn't have any ohter chance of getting out other than to trust Tamara. |
