I believe it is possible that Yassen is alive and survived the shot, but I don't think he was an MI6 agent. He really was an assassin, but he wanted to quit and the only way for an assassin to quit is by dying. So I believe he isn't looking after Alex or anything like that, but that Alex will maybe meet him once again by accident. (just a theory).

I think I discussed this someplace else but I think Yassen should stay dead. He died. He was seen dead. Alex saw his dead body. I also don't think he's such a great character that  he should be brought back. Also: he's a villain, a bad guy and a very good, deep bad guy who had some good qualities in the end and that was a complex villain. I don't want to see him again except in flashbacks and in relation to Alex not on ihs own and I really don't want a novel with Yassen in it alone. I also do not want a Alex Rider book without Alex Rider!

I don't think yassen should come back but maybe someone like him or related to him that knows more about alex's father sould find Alex. I think that would be exciting

but MI6 told Alex that he was wanted and that he worked for Scorpia! Surely they would of told Alex if he was a double agent!!!! and we would of been told in the books by now!

Maybe he is working for Russian Intelligence. Like CIA or MI6.
