i don't think he did die, but survived the shot somehow  but even if Yassen didn't work MI6, do you think he knew that John Rider did work as a spy? or maybe they both work for MI6. that would be cool lol |

I highly doubt Yassen works for MI6...after all, MI6 assumed that he was dead after Eagle Strike and would have told Alex if Yassen was an agent. Also, had Yassen worked for MI6, it's unlikely he would have killed Ian Rider and told Alex to go find Scorpia

ahh, true true. i never though of it that way. but what if Ian worked for Scorpia (undercover as an MI6 agent) and Yassen only sent Alex there to stop their evil plan cuz he knew that Alex wouldn't accept their offer anyways....there are so many ways to look at this lol |

If Ian Rider had been an undercover SCORPIA agent, it's likely Julia Rothman would have told Alex that...after all, she was really eager to have him in Scorpia so she could manipulate him and have her revenge against John Rider through his son. Also, had Ian Rider been a Scorpia agent, he would have sent Alex to Malagosto for training loooong ago xD
As much as we all love Yassen, we'll have to face the fact that he was an assassin...though, it'd be interesting to learn his story and how he came to be an assassin trained by Scorpia...mayhaps that will be in book 7

ya, you're right but it would be very interesting to learn about Yassen's history and such. but honestly, i think i like Yassen better as a real assassin, not a spy pretending to be one or whatever. |

I think its possible that Yassen was [or is] working for MI6. A double agent.  If he was and MI6 tells Alex now, he might be really angry because they withheld such a big secret and that starts the whole not trusting MI6 again..... |

but MI6 told Alex that he was wanted and that he worked for Scorpia! Surely they would of told Alex if he was a double agent!!!! and we would of been told in the books by now!
