Well, I personally, found this book quite amusing. I just finished reading it, being from the US, and not knowing Alex Rider was even out here.

A couple things I wondered though..

I know, it's children's book, and so is CHERUB, but why was there no cussing? I mean, I just found it odd.. Cussing is not necessary to make a book great, but I saw where it could have been used a few times to maybe just make Alex or some other character sound a bit more mature.

And another thing [that isn't quite about Stormbreaker itself],  which books are out in the US? I know Stormbreaker and  Point Blank are out here, but are there any others?

Not saying the cussing in Cherub is bad ^__^ just that it's for a specified audience [above 13 to about 16 maybe] whereas my sister, who's 10 or my dad, who's 40 can both read AR without really being offended or anything. =]

well im in australia, and 6 of the books are out here, so im guessing that they are out over there two

Personally I don't think cussing makes it look more mature. And there is a little bit of cussing in the other Alex Rider books. I think. Not a lot but enough for me.

Have you noticed if AH wants to include cussing then he says something like Alex swore under his breath so in a way he has mentioned cussing but politely

Yeah I like that. I've seen that in other books as well and it works well. The others were mostly fantasies that have a few languages to choose to swear in but it's almost the same thing.

i have heard of books in which AH has used swear words in....but i have never heard one in an AR book....thank god....but the books are for younger than adult age so he wont use any in the po5, AR, DB or any other books for that matter....i dont think that makes sense???

Cussing? Oh you mean swearing! Right gotcha...well i don't think that Alex really needs to swear much..half the time hes drowning and can't breathe or he's hiding and doesn't want to be heard
