Bleak Midwinter just aired - well, we have Tivo so I think it aired yesterday...
what a joy it is to have Foyle's War back on the air.
We watch it with my mother-in-law who lived during the war. She can't tell you what day it is today, but boy can she remember the details of 1942! It's fun commenting on the hairstyles, cars and dancing!

This was an excellent episode! Honeysuckle Weeks is superb as she hovers over the turkey... and of course, Mr Foyle is the best.
This is a wonderful look into life during the war...and an excellent mystery to boot!

The production values are excellent and the visual 'look' to it is just so right on target that it's a joy to watch.

Thank you so much for this series. I hope you enjoy writing [and researching] it....and keep more coming!
