I met him at the Lancashire Children's book awards...that was a dull affair...my teacher droned on to this old author chap about how wonderful his writing was and how he admired him so...whatever. But I'm straying from my overall point (I'm not sure I estasblished one...but this is it now) he told me I made him feel underdressed (compliment or dig? I can't tell) and then, because I couldn't have a free book...he gave me a piece of paper with a lovely message in...frankly I would have preferred a part in the film...but beggars can't be choosers.

for me if i meet anthony i..............would............... say how good of author he is and ask him to make like 5 more alex books and 3 more po5 books. also i would ask him to take me with him to the differrent places that he gets his ideas from to help him with his books. then i would be set.  |

I would scream, wrap my arms around him, and never let go in fear that it was all a dream. Then I'd have him autograph every book I own--I don't care if he wrote it or not--and I will ask if Cassian has a girlfirend. Honestly. Then maybe ask if he could base a character off me.
