i know exacually what happend. there are sertain anitetics that will knock you out(duh!!) but my mom is a nurse and i asked her about it and she said there are drugs that can knock you out and make you forget about what happen the night before. but then after a few day your memory starts to reboot itself just like when you get amnisha. it can be rebooted by anything a pic a story anything. just like what happend to Alex. he saw the pics of him on the medical table in that sergical room where that guy was shot by Dr.Greif. and that reboot his memory. hope that cleared things up for you. lol

yes thank but it still seems strange that night when he was in the cafe that she orderd the drink in french and alex can speak french so how would the waiter no to durg the drink

the academy owns the hotel and it knows what to do because they did the same thing with the other 15 students. I also agree with erider18, so that is why he didn't realised what happened until he saw the pics.

you know he could of just thought that nothing happened in between. Cause he woke up in the exact same position he wouldnt think anything happened to him specifically.... he might of wondered what happened while he was asleep when he woke up but we didnt read about that did we?

the aftermath of some drugs can make you forget what happened before
it can vary from an hour to about a day i think

well he was telling it as it was happning so the drug or doctors must have gave him some thing when or done something on the operating tabel

It's quite clear when you're reading it that Alex is unconcious whilst this whole thing happens. If it wasn't for the pictures he would never have even known about it. Having literally just re-read the whole book earlier it's really clear.
