Snake head was really good too i just reread it and this is probably my favorite series first place in my books second would be percy jackson and the olympians but GO CROCODILE TEARS

yeah, snake head was great, percy jackson and the olympians was EPIC its tied for numero uno (number one) on my favorite books list . alex rider is near fiveish or maybe a three but it would take a really long time for me to make the list.

I'm really eager to buy this book, but is this really what the cover looks like now?

yep, thats the US cover.  Its a little bit better in person because of the metallic-ness IMO but its still not that great

At the moment in germany you can only buy the British book, so we haven't got a German book. And I still didn't know when the book is translated into German. sad
But I've bought it in English at the weekend.  grin

yeah I am a big fan of the hardback versions and am willing to pay the extra money.  The paperback versions always get messed up someway or another.  Like, I'll drop it or something and then it'll have a big crease across the cover or something.  So I always buy hardback.
