I know, right? He must have known it was coming. i could even tell it was coming. There's always the theory that he actually wanted to die but I dunno about that...

Who would I be... If I'd never met Alex Rider?

I am REALLY confused! Why would YASSEN GREGOROVICH want to die?! What about his leisurely retirement?!!

Even if he wanted to retire, he couldn't. Remember the last two Scorpia members who wanted to retire?

I think Yassen would win in a fight, and not just because I'm Yassen obsessed. It's well known that Nile is afraid of heights, so that's his weakness. Yassen's only weakness seems to be Alex Rider so......well, we don't have to worry much about Alex getting into spy trouble now cry

I think this is pretty obvious. Nile would win, hands down. Especially if it's hand to hand combat. XD

Yeah well, as everyone has been saying - if it were weapons combat, Yassen would probably win,  but if it was hand to hand it would be Nile. It would also depend on where the fight took place - isn't Nile scared of heights?

Definitely agree. Yassen is more the sneaky type, while Nile is the "let's get this done" type.

Well, we don't really know if Yassen is good at hand to hand combat or not. Maybe Yassen prefers to use weapons because its quicker and more affective.

Yes, and in the same way, we do not know whether Nile was any good at weapons either. However, going from what the books tell us, see my post above ^^

Yassen all the way!  He was a trained assassin, Nile might hold out for a while, but Yassen would win.

You know I just realized the answer to this debate has been in the books all along.

It said Nile would have been the Number 1 assassin EVER to come out of Malagosto if it weren't for his fear.
Therefore the only real answer to this question is; Nile 100% would win unless his fear is incorporated somehow into the fight, then he would 100% lose.
