Hello ^^ The Cribber is the name of the wave that nearly killed Alex when he rode it in Skeleton Key.

Yes, they were after him twice - first at Wimbledon and then at Cornwall, when the Cribber arrived. I think the Cribber was described so significantly because, even though Alex and the assassin were fighting each other for their lives, the Cribber eventually won, and defeated them both (but mostly Alex lol, the assassin escaped while Alex drowned).
Is the Cribber a real wave, by the way?

i dont really know....i didnt now that waves had names in the first place....and how do you know when a wave comes....before it already has....and you mknow the name of it....i personally think that it is fake.....but if anyone knows if it is true...then i can change my mind....lol

If I had Alex talent to surf, I would surf the Cribber, but I never surfed before so now I'm to scared of drowning to do someting like that. Also when I had Alex talent, I would prefer to surf without chinese people in the area. Then it would be fun.

But what if you didn't surf, or hadn't done much surfing? Would you be able to go onto a giant wave, where one slip and you could be falling uder thousands upon thousands of gallons of water? I shudder to think about that

Yes it is actually a real wave sighted rarely in cornwall, and waves do get names, but I don't know any more than that.
