What're you lookin' at???

I like Alex pretty much the way he is but every single time Alex gets found out or captured and then the villian explains the plan... the plot/storyline is always a bit repetitive.
I agree, that part always bugged me.
The bad guys capture Alex, and Alex is like "MI6 knows everything, I've told them all about you."
and the bad guy is like "That's not possible, but since I'm going to kill you, I shall tell you my plan anyway."
And so then Alex escapes.

I think it's Stereotype or something, 'cause I've seen it in other books and movies too.

I personally feel that the series should have ended with Ark Angel. I enjoyed the first six books and probably read them about a zillion times when I was younger. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Snakehead and Crocodile tears too, but I felt as if everything in the series was just going on too long.

Sr kind of bothered me when Alex actually listened to MI6 and when to Cairo.

I know but you would think he could protect himself and stay in London.

WE'RE TALKING ABOUT MASSIVE ORGANISATIONS!!! The triads? 17,000 out to get him. Scorpia? Small, but with criminal masterminds who have lots of money and resources. They succeeded in shoting him in the past.

Also, Alex didn't want any of his friends to get hurt because of him. Tom got shot, who would be next? James, this time in the heart?

Scorpia and the Triads both had way more power than Alex could have dealt with by himself

That's probably the biggest thing that annoyed me in the AR books.  Just the end part being predictable

Yes, in the end they did get a little repetitive and predictable, but that's not to say I didn't like them.

Not to say I didn't like them either.  I still liked them despite it.

I would do more books about Alex fitting into school and maybe getting therapy. What if he gets bullied and is quiet and intense:
'Stop doing that.' In a deep voice, looking hard in to Whoever's eyes, Alex yanked back his schoolbag and carried onto class, his face hard.
I mean, I NEED TO KNOW! Does Alex go over the edge?

What if Alex did go over the edge, and became a cynic bad guy like all those ones he defeated?  That would be horrid! shocked
