You have to admit that Slawter was kind of... hinky, though. That's why I said
weird
-scary, not scary-scary.

should Darren Shan and AH have connections somehow?
I mean in the Demonata-series of DS there's a character called 'Antoine Horowitzer' and in the book 'more bloody horowitz'
a title sais: "The kill to Darren Shan" (not sure about the title, its just how it's translated in my language)

The story in
More Bloody Horowitz
is titled
The Man who killed Darren Shan
.
Darren Shan and AH are good friends...and good friends like to kill each other in their books.

That particular turn of phrase amuses me far more than it should, Peds. Feel proud. The meaning of it is very true, I have to say. It's also not the first time I've seen authors who are friends make reference to each other in their respective works.

Yeah I read some of his books a couple of years ago. I did enjoy them, and they were quite good and I was hooked for a few weeks.

How ironic, yet true

I read the new Zom-B book as a study break (it is only 217 pages, which took me an hour and a half...I read too fast sometimes...). It was nice, fast, action packed and although didn't require much brain power (something I was thankful of as it was my reward for finishing writing all my physics notes), it still had some good ideas present - racism etc.
It also made me feel incredibly sexist. SPOILER (sort of) - the main character is a girl! I was like "WHAT!" on page 19something. I am such a horrible sexist person to instantly assume that the protagonist with unspecified gender was a male (even if they only wore black, had short shaved hair and were a big mean bully rough kid) (maybe I am complimenting females by assuming they are nice people who do not beat people up).
A most pleasant read, I recommend it to others. And it is going to be a 12 part series, so I can look forward to a quick fix every few months! YAY!

Gosh Peddles, how could you!
I actually don't really blame you considering how society in general is conditioned to think about gender roles and protagonists, ect. Still, go and teach yourself some gender neutral thinking. :P

I dare you to read it and hopefully you will see how me doing this is not that bad.
One person (in some sort of review) treated it like the main twist of the book! (which I thought was more than a little odd).
