I don't know if someone has already mentioned this, and if they have, sorry. I don't mean to steal credit or anything. Anyways, I agree with the fact that someone may be sacrificed. However, it wont be jammie. Jammie's double is dead so the 5 can't be broken up. I think if someone did die by the knife, it would be matt. I would love to see the matt from the past come to the future and handle the old ones again. The old ones would probably have realized what the 5 did last time though, and prevent the past matt from coming again, OR they could just kill jamie. Just my two cents.

I think that they can die twice in both times as when you think about it the rest are in the past so they have all died at some point

I think that the old ones will target jamie as surely they will have clocked on of theyre last trick , and they will find another way to get rif of them via the prophecy on the ' island of dreams '

I know that they realize it was a trick but do they know what happened they caould think that they killed Sapling and they found out they were tricked but Im asking do they understand the trick about there being two or do they think that their messangers confused Saplings body with someone else

I don't think that they think their messengers were wrong they definatly should know by now that the whole thing was a trick and that there are theoreticaly 'two sets' of the five.

I think Richard may have to kill one of the five. Maybe one of the five get trapped in a doorway so that one from the past doesn't come but no-one in the future can get to them and they can't get to the battle. I came up with that idea in the Necropolis topic, for info. lol.

I would hope that the knife wouldn't even have
to be used, but then again it could come in handy.
what if they gave him the knife to give to one of the
gatekeepers incase of one of then losing a weapon
or something.

Okay, I think Richard has the knife because it might help him to protect Matt and the Five one day.
