There's this movie called boys of Brasil or something about hitler clones, which was made already many years ago.   Also, a sheep has been cloned, so the technology is there, the only reason why people haven't been cloned yet is that no government has given permission, as far as i know.  So it's not really far fetched and sci fi at all

Current cloning tech is nowhere near the level in PB. The two main problems are that Grief's clones have their age advanced to the same as who they're cloned from while current cloning makes babies with the same DNA, and that they somehow have Grief's personality implanted. PB is the only one of the books I find farfetched technologically.

i thought all of Dr. Grief's clones were alex's age not Dr. Grief's. Although the personality thing is correct.

They were babies, and they were raised for 14 years and that's why the school is specifically for people right around age 14, because that's tha age the clones are at that point.

errr, no...they were all clones of doctor grief, but then plastic surgery made them look like the boys that went to the school.  they weren't clones of the boys, and in that way the technology used isn't really that farfetched at all

Dr. Grief's personality and genes went into the clones. That's why all of them wagged their finger.

I thought it wasn't far fetched as sheep have been cloned and we have the technology as far as I know to clone people so why not write about a human/humans being cloned.

The cloning and the clones are the twist in the book that make it so great, all of AH's books have them

Yer, One thing i didnt understand about this book though.
Was why cant you just clone someone to be exactly like they are at the same moment you cloned them.
Why do you have to raise them from baby?
