That's excellent advice ... or you could just do a boring prologue set nineteen years later to assure people nobody's gonna  write anything afterwards xD

I think part of Alex's coolness is that he always escapes what seems to be an ''inevitable'' death. If he died it just wouldn't be - cool xD

I Think Ah could make a series about Ian or John Rider, and still make it for kids. Well, I would read it.

Sometimes I think authors should just let their characters die. One of my main problems with twilight... everyone good lives. Every one of the characters we get to know has their own happy ending...when you think one of them has to die, Meyer just bends it so they can live... I just think that sometimes, it's best for them to die.
Alex... it would work well if he did. and then there could be a whole scene with Blunt...

Alan Blunt read the report on the desk, informing him that a valuable agent had died on their last mission. He read the document twice, and with no emotion he picked up the phone and sent for Mrs Jones, before giving notice to the funeral department to begin the plans.
Tulip Jones entered the room, leaving a trail of the smell of peppermints. "Alan?" she asked.
"it seems that Alex Rider finally passed away," Blunt replied, emotionless. Mrs Jones swallowed and sat down, pale. "I should contact Miss Starbright," she said.
"yes, that would be best." Blunt waved her out. He stared at the image of the fifteen-year-old spy whose life he had ruined. Frowning, he picked up the details of the mission, in a teenagers club. Blunt picked up the phone.
"It's Blunt. Tell me, Mr Hawkins had a son, right? No, tell his aunt the boy won't be going with her right now, and send the boy to me."

I had absolutly believed that Scopia was the last book, I don't know why, I thought I read it somewhere, but I was devestated when he "died" at the end. Then I found out there was more books. Did AH plan on ending the series with Scorpia originally?

when Alex died in the end I was stunned and thought that the series was over and for the series it would have been a very bad ending in my opinion but when I found out that there was another book I thought it was a great ending for a book it was not expected plus it made you want to read the next book

yeah, i listened to the end of scorpia on audio book both me and my mom were shocked (road trip audio tape thing) and we actually thought the series ended, until i stumbled across Ark Angel in the library i was like "YES!"  but yeah it was a good bad ending, if that makes sense, like i didnt like the ending but i was okay with it ending that way.

If Alex did die, it wouldn't be so bad...

Well, actually I hate it if he died but if he really DOES, then at least he reunites with his parents and Ian Rider in heaven...
And if there is possibly, he might meet Yassen  shocked

It would be great. We could have a scene:
Alex Rider woke up. He saw his mum and dad and he looked down. He saw he was standing on clouds. He saw Yassen smiling at him for the first itme, then................
He slipped and fell, and fell and fell until he reached the earth and splatted

Well, Yassen kind of deserves to be in heaven... You can't really blame him because he's killed lots of people... I mean, his parents died when he was small too.
