No I dont think the story is true because if it was, what the heck its not even realistic enough lol. I just wondered beacause the person (Beatrice) he loved was the Baudilaires mum,(I only found out when I read the previous page lol) and he dedicated all the books to her...

Well, I've written stories where I'm connected with the characters - yet nothing about it is real... Anyway, remember that his name is not really Lemony Snicket. It's Daniel Handler...

In a way, they are, but they also have the mystery about them - which makes you want to read the next one.

Ah, I guess it's the way our minds work! I mean, that style of writing (along with Anthony Horowitz's and Darren Shan's) are the styles of writing that I want to aspire to so...

I love A Series Of Unfortunate Events. It's not the story line that make them great it's the way they're written.
I can't remember the author's real name but whoever he is he's a genius!!!

I agree.  I love the way he writes. I'm pretty sure his name is Daniel Handler, by the way.

Also,  Does anyone really understand the end of The End ? because when it first came out and I read it it kinda confused me and made me mad because it just kinda left you hanging and was really vague.

I dunno. Once I got it, I got it and thought it was very well done, y'know? Like, he had one more card to play. But the first time I read it, I got quite confused at what he was trying to point out.

the reason i didnt like the books is ccos they were just too mysterious and half the time i didnt know what was happening unless i read the last 10 pages again.

also the ending was horrible.
