He's only 14. With his spy work he has enough mental and psychological damage without having to deal with the knowledge that he killed someone. Plus...he doesn't want to, he says so in scorpia

well do you think that Alex might kill in the future. i mean if you look at it, Alex has killed alot of people, but he just hasn't shot anyone.

there's a difference between actually shooting someone and causing a chain of events that leads to the person's death...there's less guilt in the second one. Perhaps, if he keeps up his spy work yes, but i don't think that blunt and jones will allow it until he's of age

If he had joined scorpia he would get a gun. I don't know i mean MI6 people might think that Alex can hadle it. I mean he has to kill the bad guy in some way. why not shoot the villain.

Alex shoot someone with intent to kill. He will shoot in selfdefence and kill (I think). I think AH created Alex to use martial arts rather then guns just to show that guns aren't the best way to defend yourself.

if AH were to write alex with a gun and good at using a gun, think what an example it would set to the world. At least AH is an author who has morals and who realises that what happens in books does influence the way the reader thinks

I dont think he could handle it. Killing someone in cold blood. And, MI6 cant go around handing out guns to fourteen year old teenagers.  |
