I feel like his name was mentioned in passing in the main series, just because it sounds really familiar to me and I haven't read the mission files or most interviews.  I don't think it would have been in the short stories.

I just looked it up and the alex rider wikia says he first appeared in Scorpia and last appeared in Snakehead.  It seems like he didn't appear in any of the stories in between though.

I've looked in mainly all the chapters that have Scorpia members in them, and still can't find anything. The name doesn't sound familliar to me.

Oh well, I just hope his name won't be mentioned in Scorpia Rising or it'll really tick me off not knowing who exactly he is.

I'm sure not many people would know this but I really want to know. What is the font Anthony uses in the Alex Rider books. I think it is really cool, and for any people that don't know what font means it is the type of writing in the book. Thanks for any answers!

Uh, I tried finding the font a million times on Microsoft Word and I got the exact same one as the books!

It's not Tahoma or Arial, it's Trebuchet MS  cheesy

Erm... i am not sure if this is significant enough for me to kick start this page again but I noticed that on the page before the contents, it says that its typed in "Officina Sans". I am not sure which version of the book do you have. Mine is the 2010 print by the way, so it could be different. By the way, I can't find this font on microsoft word, if you want to see it you will need to look for it at google images.

The solution to most problems are very often in front of you. You just need a key to open it. And that key very often lies within yourself.

Yeah, that confused me...
I spent a few minutes and found that Trebuchet MS is the text!

-If you wanna know how I did it... then all you have to do is look at the small letter "L" {Sorry, I didn't want to say l, people might think it's a capital "i"}
The l in the book has a slight curve which makes it different than the other fonts

Oh well... I guess Microsoft decided to copy Officina Sans and put it as Trebuchet MS. They are very similar to each other I must say! Have you taken a look at Officina Sans by the way? And does your book state the font used? Mine is found in the page before the contents. Officina Sans is actually a font where you have to pay to have it on Microsoft Word. Woops... Going off topic! BOT!

No, the AR books are probably in Officina Sans, which is not a standard word font...you have to download it, Trebuchet MS which is probably exactly the same (except maybe the o is one pixel shorter or something...)...

My first edition, 2004 Scorpia (which I love very much...no literally, I have read it so many times it is almost falling appart...) is written in Officina Sans...

I have a Q
How can alex tell yassen is russan if it says in the book that he didn't really have an accent?
« Last Edit: February 27, 2011, 05:54:17 PM by isabelle » Logged

Alex: "I have a couple of questions."

D. Cray: "Do, please, go ahead."

Alex: "My first one is for Yassen Gregorovich." He turned to the Russian. "Why are you working for this lunatic?"

Doesn't blunt and mrs jones tell alex about him before he leaves???
Or was that just the movie??

If I'm just pulling this from no where, my second guess would be stereotypical characteristics.
