Not really. The only people that would follow him are the higher ups and Interpol.

yeah i'd have to say that it's possible that yassen wasn't wearing a vest because he knows alex won't shoot him. remember when alex was on the rooftop and yassen was with him alex didn't shoot him then.
besides. he's an expert assassin! he's over confident of himself.
LOL.
How could Alex have shot him? MI6 never gave him gun! Besides, Yassen is...or
was
a professional assassin. He would never have let Alex near him...

Last night I read through the last couple of chapters thoroughly and there was a sentence I never paid attention to:
" Somewhere inside, there was even an operating table, although it had never been used "
Do you think this has any significance, involved with Yassen? Just wondering if anyone shared the same views as I do.

I would have! AH! Why is it that the only good characters always end up dying? I mean, Yassen was so fun to read about! Alex is boring cause he's such a stu... but Yassen was so awesome!
I did like to reading about yassen, he was a good character and was upset about him getting killed. But I Can't believe you just said Alex is Boring

I know exactly what you mean!
I think what got me was that by the end of hte book, he redeemed himself (so to speak)... I dunno...it just always seemed like Yassen was doing a job, not... I can't explain what I mean without sounding like I'm apologising for murderers...

Lol... I was going back through all the books and reading all the good parts.
When I got to Eagle Strike I went right to the end where Yassen died.
I wanted to start crying all over again.
It's always the cool characters... (Just like in Snakehead...)
He did sort of redeem himself when he went on about how he doesn't kill children,
and how he could never kill Alex because he knew his father, and such.
I mean, JR saved Yassen's life.
From a... spider. XD
*BANG!* Two kills in one shot, eh!? Awesome!
Yeh...
However he was still a "bad" man. T___T
(AH will write a book about him... it's the 8th book in the series.
About HIM of course, no Alex included.) =]
In my opinion, Yassen deserves it.
