That's what I thought, because "The Skeleton Key" was a popular movie a few years ago!

If the producers will make the whole series into a movie, it would suck if all of the titles began with Operation. Again the title sucks.

Skeleton Key was pretty popular, although I never understood what it was about.

Skeleton Key exists in the UK, and I'm fairly sure Point Blank would. AH said there was no copyright issue with the title Point Blank because it's slightly different - Point Blanc. I know in America it's spelt "Blank" in the books but I think they'd just change it back to "Blanc"

Yes, your right. I'm just trying to find a solution to that idiotic name change.   Sad  cry

I wonder if in the UK the Title will be Point Blanc and in the US it will be Alex Rider: Operation Point Blanc...

Yeah, I hope not. Maybe they'll actually be able to think up something good, not like Alex Rider: Operation... for every movie.

I also think they're hoping that as the Alex Rider books are less (but still) popular in America, people will find it easier to link the films to the AR brand if they put "AR: Operation ... " before each name.

so then why not make it just Alex Rider: [insert book name here] and totally skip the word "operation"?!?!?! that's what makes it sound weird....

My guess is that for PB it will be Alex Rider Operation: Gemini. Hopefully not!

Gemini? I doubt it... because it would give away the ending easily...
Someone could easily guess the plot if that was the case...
BPRU, you do have a point!

I haven't read PB for a while, I forgot what Gemini had to with it.  Shocked
