Why doesn't Yassen know that John Rider was killed by Scorpia and not MI6 and that John was working for MI6?  Did Scorpia lie to him?Didn't they want him to know???  |

Because he owed John his life and if he learned that John had been killed by Scorpia the way they said MI6 had done it he would have quit

Yeh what has been said above is right. Yassen is extermely loyal to John Rider, he has had many chnaces to get Alex out of his way yet he didn't kill him.

Maybe Yassen didn't tell him because Scorpia wanted revenge on Alex and they got Yassen to tell him that his father worked for Scorpia to lure Alex into joining Scorpia... Hmm... |

Maybe Yassen only knows about missions and details specific to him, like Alex knows nothing about the other missions that MI6 must carry out...
Secrecy is pretty important in those kind of organisations...
