besides the stingo mosquito solution, i didnt really like the gadgets in Ark Angel.
anyway whoever asked ig the gadgets are real - AH wrote a book called Alex Rider: the Gadgets explaining the tech behind the gadgets of books 1-5. i dont know if that means the gadgets are real, but it was rly cool to read (actually, ill admait - u have to be a genius to read it - i rly just looked at the pics.)

Yes i thought this book had some of the best gadgets (ie: the Ipod and bug spray). Very inventive of Smithers/AH! Though when Alex was going to use the bug lotion was kind of obvious...

The Stingo was one of those gadgets where you have to put yourself into a situation where you use it. Like James Bond's ejection seat.
