If Pedro is a healer and he woke Matt up from a coma, kept the illness's away from his family in Posion Town and fixed the cracked ribs why when he broke his ankle didnt he heal it straight away?
Also I thought we could just have a genral discussion about Pedro here!

well no he did know about them, otherwise he wouldn't want to be with martin...sorry matt...when he was in a coma...but in his mind, matt's coma was a lot more important to heal than his own ankle which can heal in normal ways...matt couldn't heal with regular medicine

Yeah I think you might be right and I think that he also wanted to stay with Atoc!

You say he did not know about them but he says when he remeniscis in the dream about the flood that he was among the only survivers and he put two and two together, it says somewere that he knew he had an ability like healing because of him miraculously surviving the flood, he also managed to keep his area of Poison Town without illness so he must sub conciously be able to sue his ability. About the ankle because it was prophesised that only one would stand against the Old Ones at this particular time maybe his ability was useless and destiny got the better of him

I think his powers lay more into finding them all, bringing them all to gether, protecting them when necessary, and channeling and bundling their powers...but that's jsut thought, don't know for sure
he does get premonitions though
