does anyone think that it's actually possible to do that?

and on launching the nuclear missles on the plane, here's something i found on wikipedia that kind of explains it:

Quote
Cray creates a decoy with a burning Boeing 747 about to crash land that is "full" of harmful nerve gas. During the confusion that arises, Cray, Yassen, Henryk (Cray's Dutch pilot), and Sabina and Alex (unwillingly) take over Air Force One, since the President is in England. Here, Cray reveals the full extent of his plans. He plans to launch nuclear weapons at several drug plantations in order to eradicate the drug trade. Cray plugs in the USB drive and launches the missiles at the world. (In real life, this would be impossible as the President can only order strikes-the US Military must carry them out.)

I don't know if it would be possible, but I highly doubt that it would be possible.
oh and it wasn't a boeing 747 that was used as a distraction. it was more of an older model plane. Millenium Air...
is that real? Millenium Air?

well, anyways.....

well, i was reading ES during school and this girl who sat next to me what the book was about and i told her that someone was hijacking AFO at that part of the story. she said it's almost impossible. i wasn't going to tell her she was wrong because her father works in the White House and probably knew everything about the plane anyway. but i wonder if what Cray did could actually work huh i hope not shocked

That wikipedia article is wrong. Cray reveals his plan in his garden over cookies  Cheesy . I really don't think it's possible, even for a man like Cray.

Yeah it would be nearly impossible to hijack air force one in real life, and the president ordering to fire missiles, he would need to have the military confirmed about launching missiles, that is true.

Guys you're wrong...
The president is the commander in chief, he IS the leader of the military... he doesn't need to ask the military, he needs to ask Congress...

I think anything is possible if you do it properly.

But, it is rather improbable...

But, still possible...

even if you would need the president's dna..that can be hacked too.  Anything that's done electronically can be hacked.
