the only thing that bugs me about MI6 is the fact that they use alex. Its sad how everytime they blackmail him to get him going into a mission.

haha, that's funny.

okay, BOT:
when i read the part where alex said he woujld join scorpia, i was ready to stab the book. i was so relieved when i read the end. i know this is premature, but if they make a movie for this story i think it'll be rated PG-13/12A because Nile stabs the sword through the guy's head, Rothman literally gets crushed, etc.

my favorite parts when AH squeezed in those witty comments. for example:
"I'm perfectly qualified to give you an injection," Dr. Steiner said. He raised an accuseding finger. "You're not going to tell me you're afraid of a little prick?"
"I wouldn't call you that, "Alex muttered. He rolled up his right sleeve.

i had to read it twice to understand what he was saying cheesy

here's another part:
Mrs. Jones took up the story. "The gondola from underneath the balloon fell on her as she was trying to escape," she said. "She was crushed."
"I'd have been disappointed too," Alex muttered.

yeah they were grin

Scorpia is probably my favourite so far- it was so cool, and it had many twists. And I'm glad Alex found out the truth about his dad in the end.

The best book so far, but then again, Ark Angel awaited so I can't really be sure. I hate to compare them as they , in my mind, are all one major giant story. This one is amazing again! Alex in Venice (not sure why they had two versions but lo and behold I like the American version best...Alex and Tom there on their own seems more true than the school trip thing). Alex chasing down Rothman's speedboat through Venice, Alex dressed up as a slave boy, the white tiger, the sheer number of evil villains, the settings, Alex being manipulated by all again, Alex's attack on Mrs Jones, her children (I hope that backstory is evolved), and the balloon ride/fight at the end...all totally tense and amazing! Well done! I love Alex's relationships with Tom and Jerry! I'm also glad Horowitz didn't take the easy way out and make Sabina a regular character and Alex's girlfriend. That's a bit boring. But alex and anthony are anything but!
