I jsut finished reading this book again.  It's really good, kinda scetches what William Shakespeare's life would have been if he lived now.  And of course, being an Anthony Horowitz book, there's a juicy murder( couple of them actually) and some torture envolved, with a nice mystery

The thing is though, I know that it was written by him, as i bought it on a bookfair in Antwerp were he was signing it for some people(I had him sign a book of the original power of 5 series then, hehe), and his picture is on the cover.  It was a publicity stunt by The House of Books, buy Killer Joke and this one in a bundle together and thus save some money.  But after that I haven't been able to find anything about it!  not on the net and not in the book shops.

It's a really good one though, in my eyes better than Killer Joke, so I'm really wondering why it disappeared...and Killer Joke stayed present...The dutch version of it is called William S.  but that didn't help me any furter...all i could find was a book report about it by some school kid...oh well

I've seen the dutch version in a few online shops, but you're right. It's almost as if the english version never existed.
Perhaps it didn't sell very well and got out of print a few years ago. To be honest, I wouldn't know.

yes, but it's somehting completely different.  for one it's written with adults in mind, an for two it's not a detective story in the sense that a detective goes out to solve a mystery...the main character just kinda falls into this situation that he realises things that don't add up and he wants to figure it out...

and it' snot a happy ending...well not completely happy anyways...

Great book! I bought it in the Dutch version when he first presented it at the Antwerp Book Fair. But I haven't heard much about it since then.
Most people don't even know Anthony has written books for adults.
