eh I do generally like that type of book, but since they don't have "adult" books at my school library, I guess I'll have to look in the public library.

it's easier to make people cry than to make them smile. people with cruel hearts fill the world with cruel intentions. if you don't have to fight for it, it's not worth it.

I thought the first chapter was hilarious... I am currently halfway through the book, as I received it the other day, upon my dad's return from the U.K.

Ya, I believe we're still talking about the Killing Joke. It sounds like the book is really....different. I haven't read it yet, but just based on the plot outline and stuff, it seems to have a different style about it than most of AH's other books. It has a completely different style to Alex Rider. I couldn't believe it was AH I was reading at first! It makes a nice change! Anyway, I finished it about a week ago and I have to say it was a brilliant book. On the same level as the AR series. The beginning wasn't to catchy but by the end I was hooked, lots of twists aswell... Any one else think this book was almost better then Alex Rider?

I was a fan long before AR came out. In fact I've read the Killing Joke before I read Alex Rider...

I only figured out AR just before the movie was announced. I kinda wish I could have read most of AH's work before the hype of the film... Go you for having read other work before AR!

not hard to do really... Mr. Horowitz was a huge hit here in belgium in the 90's...my brother was a fan, and he got me hooked...bought me Groosham Grange for my bday when i was 10...was enough to get me hooked as well I've read almost all of his work...
