A 'total knockout' ending scene would have been a relief, if you ask me.  As it is, the ending was utterly and completely depressing.  Because Alex lost his fighting spirit.  I mean, he had a right to lose his fighting spirit, but I wish he hadn't.  He should be bent on revenge or something.

Some fics make him have kids but it's just not... RIGHT! Like Alex is kinda weird and the kids are kinda dorky...
