I know it's not but this felt most like a karate movie/Chuck Norris/DieHard type movie with the Asian setting and all the action. It also felt again like a spy movie/book in the James Bond tradition as all the books did, too.

I agree. Books like these are the reasons i'd prefer to read a novel than go see the movie of it. AH did an awesome job with all the descriptive languages and whatnot. I could actually see the images in my head as I read.
