I think that the movies should have a special team of AR fanatics/ extreme movie critics     to watch the movies and point out the pros and cons

Exactly! But, on the other hand, although we may be able to make it good for AR diehards, people who haven't read the books may find it slow...

i like the idea of there being more alex rider movies all the books are done which is sad but they are all amazing books am 27 years old i got hooked on the first one when i was 19 the adventure of alex rider is one to love and i think they would make really great movies if you had a great person to produce the movie. the actor should stay the same he fit the actor well and all the other movies he has played he done amazing work. hope to see some movies and good look and cant wait for more books love this writer

Nah, the same actor really is too old now. I think if there ever was another Alex movie, I'd get some of the people involved in The Hunger Games to do it. Peeta might make a good Alex, but Peeta is 16, Alex 14/15

Just one thing I want to contest about Pettyfer and his work - anyone that's seen Beastly should know he can make dud movies too! That movie was terrible.

As for another movie, it really needs to be a good. big budget flick that's released properly around America. It was kept back last time, and if you can't break the American market (as an English speaking film), you don't tend to make more movies.

Beastly was horrid. I only really watched it because he was in it...

I wonder what the ratio from English reader to American readers is. I was only a few years old when AR was first released so I wonder how much of a buzz it made in the US.

By all accounts it was popular enough. But even without that, a movie that's promoted properly tends to do well. You don't really need to read the book, especially if it's an action flick.

I really want more Alex Rider movies but i hope that they'll be more like the book. I liked the first movie but it wasn't awesome as the book!

The idea was always to make Alex Rider like James Bond. Played by different actors, and always staying the same age despite what's happening in the real world. Just look at the books, Alex ages 1 year while the world around him ages 11...
