Author Topic: DVD Poland version of the movie and a ton of extras!!!!  (Read 855 times)

If the Japan dvd was packed with more than the US n UK  dvds of STORMBREAKER then the Poland one has at least three hours MORE of extras including extensive shooting behind the scenes of all major sequences on the set, alt takes, trailers, and LONG behind the scenes videos, interviews with ALL the stars.

Additinally, there are TWO disks. The movie itself has more scenes in it. The escape flight from the virus room has Alex hit and punch, step on and kick more guards than the US/UK version. STILL that scene on the trailers of him elbowing someone and such is not there. I thought people would be interested in this news.

The two disk set is simply amazing. There is also a dubbing session for Poland AND a convention interview with the man who promoted Alex Rider Stormbreaker in Poland and interviewed the voice actors and the actors themselves.

On the second disk, we see blue screen work galore, takes on all major scenes and make up being applied, location shoots, aerial shots, effects shots, the jellyfish, the helicptor stunts, the horse riding stunt throughout, the Alex rides the road stunt in long long takes!

I just keep exploring Amazon, different country Amazons. I just wonder why the companies do not promote this stuff more. I'm sure more people would be interested in this stuff and in the short stories. I sometimes blame Anthony Horowitz for writing short stories and then not telling us about them. He should know about those at least.

Is it all in English...because I don't speak Polish!

It would be nice if all the AH short stories were on here...in a few years there will be enough short stories to be able to put in a book...which I will buy...then I will be happy!
