OK Yassen was like the best character of the while series and he gets killed.i thought that was a interesting but suckish twist considering Yassen was Alex's rival.  what do you think.

I think it was sad... cry
But it had to happen, he sacrificed himself... And sacrifice means giving up the good for the better. smiley

I thought it was more annoying than sad. I thought he died a little too soon. And it was too sudden for me, cuz we still knew almost nothing about him. But I guess Anthony didn't expect him to be that important of a character.

At least there'll be a book about him. But still, Yassen really didn't deserve to die.

Yassen didn't deserve to die because he had a background with Alexes dad. Sure he may of killed Ian rider but he was close to John and was only trying to protect his best friends son

Yup, and I know how hard it must be for Alex at that time to see Yassen die. He'd been close to his dad, he saved him so many times and then, the last save had cost him his own life. Alex must've been dying to know more about his dad than ever...
And my point is: Damn! Yassen just had to die when I started to like him!

If AH had let Yassen live, Yassen could have told Alex more about his father and had more to write about in his next book. ( more about  Yassen's background and Alex dealing with the new facts he was given.)

Exactly... Maybe the fifth book wouldn't be named after Scorpia at all. Who knows? It could've been named Family or something.

Then Alex should have met Yassen when he was younger.

But I don't think Yassen knew that John Rider had a son...
