So, for the 10 year anniversary of Alex Rider all of the books are coming out with new covers and will include bonus stuff from AH  they will also be availiable in audiobook form and e-book(?) form too.  Also, there's some contest for you and your family to win a vacation in Australia.  You can get the full details on alexrider.com

It's so strange to see the different covers. I still have my well used green. I doubt I'd re-buy them, seeing as I don't really need to win a trip to Australia, but I love how kids still get hooked on it. =D

You don't have to buy them to win the trip to Australia. There's a link in the news post that takes you to a page where you type in your name and email address and I think that's it.

Dilan, you should enter! That way, if you win, you can give me the trip and I can hijack it to come see you! ^_^

I dont like the new covers. Nor do I like the current ones! The cool covers are the ones with pictures! Why cant they bring those back!  cry

And that Holiday does not sound much like a dream holiday in Australia! They are not going to see the Sydney Harbor bridge (a must for tourists). They are not going to Melborne (not so bad, although they will probably stop over there on there way from tassy to SA) and they are not going to Perth or the beaches of QLD! Its a silly holiday.

Hydra and DM. If you want to have an aussie holiday, just borrow some of my dads frequent flyer points...he has oh so much... rolleyes . I think he lives in the air between perth and sydney and melborne sometimes...sigh.

yeah I don't really lioke these covers either.  I like the covers of my original Stormbreaker and Point Blank.  they need to make covers for all of the books to match them.

if it is new stories or new chapters I want them! anyone know what it is? for each book? Horowitz totallly frustrates me pulling this. I'd rather see him release another book or a book of short sotries or something than this: another gimmick to get us to buy stuff already written

Baka! Tassy is a lovely place...for a holiday. You have wonderful things like Cascade raspberry (the second sweetest drink you will ever taste (behind Irn Bru)) and oysters...so many oysters. And you can go on heaps of cruises, on the Gordon, in the Southern Ocean (<<Don't go on that one, unless you are prepared to get REALLY wet and probably have your camera broken...) and near wineglass bay. Tassy is lovely, its one of the last places left on earth that has not been touched by major infastructure. You guys dont know how lucky you are! And just how many stars you can see! And how bloody good your fish and chips are.

However, I don't think tasmania is of 'Dream Holiday' status...isn't that Fiji and the like???

tassie is also the place where you will have all 4 seasons in one day,
and we have 3 types of snakes, all of which are on the top ten deadlist snakes in the world list....
we have bull ants/jack jumpers, mean as spiders, the tassie devil... (my sister got bitten by one once hahahaha).
mt wellington is ruined by the great big massive tower that you can see from brighton.
mt nelson is nice though =) they should go up there. i would live there if it wouldnt screw up my car so much. =)
and the devonport council wasted HEAPS of money on this great big ugly statue so that people that come on the spirit of tasmania can see it as they first arrive. its big. its ugly. and its stuck there. 'spirit of the sea' or something.
Tassie is good for a nice relaxing holiday OR for old people to retire in. everyone that has moved from the mainland move back within 6 months because its 'too quite'

edit: oh and THEY WON'T LEGALISE PAINT BALLNG!!!! Cry they are so mean. =(
