Are there any plans for more episodes? I would love to see Howard Paige get his just deserts and for Foyle to meet up with Barbara again from 'They Fought in the Fields'.

Didn't discover 'Foyle's War' until this year when Series 7 was airing on PBS. I now own all of the episodes and have watched them all many times in sequence. My favorite of them all has to be 'The Hide' and I'm still not sure there isn't a familial relationship between CF and JD.

I'm delighted that you have discovered the joy of watching Foyle's War.   It's a wonderful series,
and all devotees are hoping that it will return this year.  Audience figures for the last episodes
were excellent, so maybe there's a chance.

There has been lots of debate about the relationship between CF and JD, and I think the
intention was to keep us guessing - if so, the writer succeeded, and Foyle is very adept at hiding
his emotions.  It was a wonderful episode, though, with some great acting from CF and JD.

Foyle's War is about a policeman during WWII who deals with situations of murders in civilian life during a time when military murder is sanctioned.  He tries to contain morality in an immoral world, he does a damn good job at it.  He manages to retain his own moral values in the process.  It is exceptional story-telling as well as historic education.  The kind of historic information that the government would never all ow revealed.  This story is warm, sad, beautiful and ugly all in one.  The chemistry between Foyle, Samantha, and his seargent are superb.  They make you want to be a part of them as a family.  They make you proud of the few good men who stood for what really matters in this world.  It makes me sad that series 6 is the last, because there are so many stories to tell.

Can anyone tell me how to post a new message?  I don't see any way to do it.

Also, I'd like to know if there will be a new series in 2011.  Thank you.

I would like to know if we in the United States are going to be able to watch the new Foyle's War starting in April. We just finished watching the series ans throughly enjoyed and were so sad to see it end. we learned so much about the second world war and the characters in the program, became like family. Pllease let us know . Judith M. Rettere e-mail jrretterer@sbcglobal.net
