Sure it's possible...
It's not like Alex went into some huge wardrobe and has over 2 decades of stuff in a magical world happening in just 1 day...
Spies are awfully busy and I bet Alex only had a week or so of normal life before he gets pulled out of it again...

Technically, it wasn't a full year. The series starts during the fall when school kicks off, and in Crocodile Tears it's February. But still, I think it would be hard to do all that in year.

If you notice most books don't even really have a time frame an if they do it's really short, so the fact that we can determine that all of those missions happened in a year is pretty awesome. Well i do think that all of Alex's missions could've happened in a year because most of the missions don't take much more then a 2 weeks. The only thing that confuses me is how Alex isn't failing school cause he's missed at least half of the school year do to different "illnesses".
