On the odd occaision, you get snow. Well you do in this part of England... More north and yes, you get real snow. I think London gets a bit of snow, too. Here you just get cold and have no excuse to not see relatives you don't like... Cheesy
In '05 I spend Christmas in South Africa... it was so hot! It was realy weird, didn't feel like Christmas at all... I think it gets Christmassy when it's dark when you're on the bus home from School... And around the school play, of course.

Meh summer christmas sounds wierd!

winter christmas..... well when its cold dark and windy outside you can curl up in frount of the t.v or something. Or when your in town and it's gone dark there are all the christmas lights glowing. Warm food when you come home.  Going on snowy walks (at least I did this once).

Note this is from a little kids point of view because now christmas has compleatly lost its "magic" feeling for me.

With summer christmas I used to get bikes and stuff like that, and we would have barbeques with heaps of the family and play cricket or football or ride around on whatever you got.
When its rains (It has previously, last year it was threating to but didnt) I get real bored because its not as fun as going out in mucking around with all my cousins. One year we nearly broke the tv because we couldnt go outside and hard ahrdly anything to do. It was hilarious.

i love to go swimming and have BBQ's.
run around outside like a loon.
i am sure you can do all this during winter but it is so much better when it is hot.

I love the idea of a White Christmas - it's so... epic... and... romantic... in a 'classic' sort of way...

But I looooves Christmas in summer XD for all the reasons everone else said of course, but mostly I think cos it's the high point of a very looooong, relaxed, laid-back, sunny, warm, go-places-and-do-things-y school holiday.

Personally, i think holidays are just better in the sun, it's so much more happy. Urg, that's terrible grammar, but you get the picture right? warmth, family, laughing, enjoying great food, It doesn't get much better.

Erm - i dont really celebrate Christmas but i generally prefer winter holidays ... it doesnt really get COLD and snowy here, there's always a bit of sun, but i love the crisp air and the general ... Winter-Ness of it lol. I HATE summer occasions ... always hot, messy, my hair  never stays straightened (it takes longer to straighten it than i can enjoy it in the summer!) and flies and sweat and just ... urgh XD

Then again, my summer IS a tad different from you guys ... as is my winter ^^

Now, the only early Christmas I can find (with a picture of the outside) is from 2000...

I'm the girl in the dress who's turned away... As you can see, no snow and it wasn't that cold. Erm, I can't find any other christmas pics to compare to.... xD How depressing.

Haha I always had UBER short hair, I think Ive mentioned that before, and then when I got old enough to have a mind of my own I decided I wanted to grow it, and did, for years, until it was waist length and HORRENDOUS. Honestly, it was AWFUL. And then I got old enough to have SENSE and had it hacked off to the shoulders, so it curled round my neck, and since then it's been pretty nice. It's much longer now, but still nice. It's a completly BLEH colour, but yeah.
