As a general observation, about half of the people who posted so far liked Scarlett, and the other half not at all. About 2 thirds don't like Pedro, and about three quarters like Matt.

which to me suggests that the more you sees someone from their perspective, the more you like them. I mean, Pedro hardly got any exposure. Matt had two and a half books all to himself!! Scarlett had most of necropolis, but maybe there was just too much of a n expectation on her: I mean,. she was totally different from past scar, and knew basically nothing about the 5. It was sort of "come on, get onm with it."

But ML's point is really valid: if all scarlett's parts were not from her POV, would anyone have liked her at all? would ot be more like pedro and scott, who are less well liked? ( for most of the posting population, or at least my impression of the thread)

Mmmm... I see your point... despite personally seeing those whose POV we've not seen as my faves... AHey... Scott (v. little), Pedro (v. little), Jamie (book), Scarlett (1/2 book) Matt (2 1/2 books). Well, I think I might disprove that theory a bit... Although, despite that, I do like Matt a lot. I don't hate any of them.
But yeah, your theory makes sense... most of the time xD.

No, I think really with Jamie and Matt and Scar, people have stronger opinions on them... I think! I mean, ok, Peds loves Pedro, Me and Frost (sorry, forget who else xD) love Scott, but otherwise I would think that people tend to have stronger opinions on the POVed characters.

That's it! Stronger opinions...probably because there's more of them to base an opinion on!

And about you disproving the theory, I don't know. I was looking at what it seems the majority likes, and we're never all going to agree about even one character, so ...

at first it was pedro but now im thinking scott he seems weak now and might eventually get so mad at matt that he will try to trade sides to help the old ones take down matt since they still owe him payback for the nazca desert incident. matt is definentaly #1 followed by scarlet, then jamie, but at this point in the books im torn between pedro and scott.
