I'm too lazy to quote each seperate point, but here it is:

- The fandom people on MR would have to be dumb if they actually WANTED Angel to take over like that. Because that's the stupidest, most annoying take over that could have been cool I have ever read. Like I said, with Angel's power it'd be better if she'd been older. But not quite like /that/. And those threads are probably because Angel did say "I should lead the flock, Max, not you." In School's Out, back when things were still cool. My guess is JP went on his own site and did what the fans wanted without considering what was best for the series. Hey, if he's gonna get money for it ...

- I said when Fang kissed Max. Max was the one who kissed him on the beach xD I made it specific for that reason.

- Angel's seven. She has no right to kick anyone out, and she certainly shouldn't have the authority. The very idea of Max getting out is stupid, not to mention BADLY DONE.

Sorry if I'm coming off a bit mean here. I just get really worked up over this series. It had so much potential.

Okay, I think we can sufficiently agree to disagree at this point peacefully.

because this was continuing in the book recommendations thing
I agree with Pedro and bingo on Maximum Ride.  After I'd finished reading Angel, I thought about it a went 'And why did I read all of those?'  They got really repetitious, and it's really annoying about Fang and Dylan.

well yeah i thought the same thing .. what did he do !!!!!
it was like ruining a prefect good first three books
to be pretty honest the first three books were the only good ones
It started to deteriorate after that quite a bit

...The first three weren't even that great, lets be honest.

Can someone explain to me how they are good? it's written entirely unsubtley, the characters are, at times, ridiculous, and the humour is just... bleugh.

well they were pretty good for a light read...not something I could take completely seriously
I was something I read between trying to swallow a tale of 2 cities (it was a great book but slow and hard to understand :p)

Quite like A Tale of Two Cities.... about the only Dickens I do like...
Max Ride just annoys me so much... Max the character is too stereotypical BadAss!Female!Protagonist. It's a bit like why I don't like Katniss Everdeen from Hunger Games....

I get what you mean
I didnt like it too much either when I first read it
but it is a very pacy and fast book... and sometimes light-hearted novels are just the thing I need Tongue

Hmm. I tend to go for chick flicks now, ,for light reads. Bridget Jones :') Or Devil Wears Prada.

But yes. Not liking Maximum Ride and will actively discourage people from buying the books. (Note I said 'buying', not 'reading'. Read all you like, hopefully without paying so Patterson doesn't get so much undeserved money.)
