it would be gud to know her motivation for joining MI6. If her kids were taken perhaps shes hoping that because she's working for intelligence that she could help find them and hasn't given up, that's why she doesn't want alex to get hurt like she has a soft spot for kids. Also alan blunts defensive comment would suggest that he has someone he cares about and doesn't quite trust alex or anyone but is fine telling alex all about mrs jones' family??  |

I think that it says in one of the books Skeleton Key maybe that Mrs. Jones has never met Mr. Blunt's wife which suggests that he is married. I think that she says that he has never had children though.

in all the books they call her 'mrs' jones but when alex goes into her aparment there's no sign off any 'mr' jones, only a picture of her with two children who looked very much like her
