Note that when the Scorpia members were discussing ways of sabotaging the meeting, one of them mentioned the virus R5, mentioning that R5 was the virus used in stormbreaker.
It's interesting because in Stormbreaker (i've re-read it recently and came across this point) there was no mention of the name of the virus at all. It was in the Stormbreaker graphic novel, however, that the virus was named R5.
The name R5 then appears in an Alex Rider book released after the SB novel.
