I hope not  tongue, even if MI6 wouldn't ask him to go on a mission for them, he would still do things like that for himself, it is just in his character to help when he is needed. He has the habbit to get in trouble and to solve it then.

Yeah, even if Alan Blunt died and all MI6 buildings in the world were blown up, Alex would still catch dangerous people and do dangerous things. It's his nature I think.
