it was kind of weird since yassen shot all of Ash's guys (if i remember correctly) and then he just stabs Ash. Since Yassen is a professional at his job he'd have known what would kill Ash and what wouldn't, i.e. where to stab him.

I am no just some weird crazy Alex penifer fan.  Alex does rule though.  There needs to be more violence in the books. i only picked the name Sabina to show that even girls like Alex RIDER

Yeah, I was ecstatic when Yassen was mentioned, I read the parts about him over and over. I love when they bring back people's pasts, it's so fun. And when I got to the part where it was,"John Rider had a soft spot for Yassen," I was practically squealing my head off!
