Can anybody please enlighten me as to the differences between the UK and US versions of the books? And how much of a difference does it make? I think I the UK version of SB-Scorpia and then the US version of AA and Snakehead, would that really matter much or are the differences only small tihngs? thanks

I'm American. There are some forms of words that you use that are changed for me. Measurements are changed from kilometers to feet. Loo is bathroom. Not sure what the lingo in the UK books are but I could tell you what changed. In an Artemis Fowl I read, I was listening to an audio book, they changed several words to fit the American type of speech.
